Happy Babywearing to all! – Baby K’tan

Twas the night before Christmas and snug in the crib,
Baby Joey slept sweetly, no rattle no bib.
Mommy and Daddy relaxed and prepared,
For a morning of smiles and hugs to be shared.
When outside the window a rustle was heard,
Mommy wondered if it was a cat or a bird.
She peaked out the door to settle the matter,
When up on the roof she heard such a clatter.
It couldn’t be, could it? Was this just a trick?
Could this be a visit from Santa, St. Nick?
Then Mommy and Daddy turned ‘round and did see,
That Santa, in flue dust, went straight to the tree.
“Wait Santa! One minute!” Cried Daddy out loud,
“I already bought gifts for our fun loving crowd.”
A sweater for Grandpa, a stuffed bear for Molly,
A book for Aunt Mae, and for Suzie a dolly.
But Santa just smiled with his bright rosy cheeks,
“This gift is important; I’ve planned it for weeks.
This one gift will give you much more than you know,
It will help you each day and help baby grow.”
This gift will bring smiles and help Baby Joey,
Keeping him warm when this winter gets snowy.
This gift will give Mommy and Daddy a hand,
When baby is fussy this gift will be grand.
It will bring you together, it will help you all bond,
Help baby develop, grow smart and beyond.
Then Santa told Mommy to come take a peek,
And see what this is, this great gift, so unique.
So Mommy walked over and gave it a scan,
And found in the box a brand new Baby K’tan!
She knew wearing baby was as good as it gets,
A joyous experience no parent forgets.
Then with a wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Santa got up and went back to his sled.
Then Santa exclaimed, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
“Babywearing to all, and to all a good-night!”
